DigiKev gets an overhaul

It was long overdue, but finally I have got round to giving my DigiKev Web site a total overhaul. The previous Web site felt broken and although the design was adventurous it didn’t lend itself to the array of content I wished to put into it.

And breathe…

I haven’t stopped, seriously. Since the end of February I have been designing, creating, building and testing websites. The freelance work has really been flowing in from several different sources which have been fantastic but unfortunately something has had to slip. That has been the time to sit down and write entries for my blog and to go and read others and see what is occurring amongst my community of contacts. Now that I have found just a little bit of breathing space I am now able to reflect and my last statement of something has had to slip is inaccurate. Something in fact needs to change so that I am able to keep up the pace on the workload but also factor in the social internet. During the mania of course I have just been plugging away at the work and jumping from one project to the next without thought of anything else. This is not a good way to work. From this point on I am going to start using something like One Note to jot down all of the tasks in hand and then break them up with time spent on updating the blog and catching up on everyone else’s.
